Comparing versions of Magic Items

Showing changes between January 26, 2019 at 5:25:20 pm (crossed out) and August 3, 2019 at 12:29:53 pm (underlined)

Belt of Giantess' Strength - a gold and garnet fitted belt woven of the hair of the Giantess Gefreydihovir. raises strength bonus for Damage to +6
BlackTail - an ebony blade that functions either as a Dagger +1 or a Shield +1 in any given round. Can be thrown, and will return to thrower once per day.
The Book of Forgotten Secrets - This book is an artifact of ancient origins and will protect itself and its contents from all reasonable (some most unreasonable) damage. However in its old age it is somewhat forgetful and has managed to forget most of its contents. Should the script of any pages remind the book of their contents it will find the correct page, but otherwise it will soon forget the page forever. If somebody looking at the book make a magic save they will see the blurred forgotten memory of other pages, otherwise they will only see the few remaining blank pages (17 at current count) and pages of their own writing.
Cloak of the Ice Elves - six were taken. Makes the wearer almost invisible when on Snow and Ice
Ming Yi's Elegant Blade - a jade-handled dagger+1, likely from the distant Qi Empire
Darts of striking - five +1 darts.
Every Cloak needs a Home - This fine silk cloak (think coat rather than cape) is enchanted to find its way though the time/space wash back to its rightful cloak room (or wardrobe in a bedroom). The room must belong or be associated with the current wearer. The cloak will do this by folding itself up until it is infinitely thin and then quietly slip away. It will do this if it feels it sufficiently abandoned, left being or possibly bored (it will never do this while been worned). Should the wearer be in such a state that they probably wouldn't make it home by the morning, either being injured, passed out in a gutter, dead etc, then the cloak will take its wearer with it and will make sure they are home in time to prep for the next big social event, which would be a while for some people.
Golden Bowstring - Spun of the hair of the Giantess Gefreydihovir. +1 to hit, +1 shot per round
The Glutton’s Fork - Once a day this fork will allow the user to eat any non-magical item they can fit in their mouth and gain 2d6 points of health. Just tap the fork on the item and it will turn edible.
Grimble's Thimble - This silver thimble unbuttons buttons, loosens drawstrings, unbuckles buckles, etc. with just a tap.
Helm of the Hardy - A helm that grants AC 14 when worn. Found in the temple of the Snake God.
Soon's Stone - a Luckstone. A black polished pebble contained in a wrought silver-filigree cage and worn on a silver chain around the neck.Taken from the corpse of an Elven lord whose bier lay within the Tower of the Sun. +1 to hit, +1 to Saves
Staff of Striking - A most puissant staff, capable in the hands of a sorceror of dealing out blows of great ferocity. Taken from the Isle of the Cadodemon. Inflicts 2d6 damage on a successful hit, does not use charges.
The Stalwart Stole- a cloak offering +1 AC. Found in the temple of the Snake God.
Standard of Coxilrum: Provides an additional follower for each Player sworn to follow it. Tamrik Flies on it the Leopard Banner of Shinaka.
Ruby ring of Fire Resistance - Taken from the corpse ofMenenias the liche.
A Bronze Figurine of a Cavorting Satyr - Animates on command and follows any orders given with the intelligence of a human. 1D4 hit dice magical creature. Can only be used 12 times before the magic fades. Has an uncomfortable habit of briefly animating to nervously ask "where am I?" and "I thought I was dead?" etc.
Items departed with heroes who have wandered to distant lands
Braid of Tresses- Plaited of the hair of the Giantess Gefreydihovir. Acts as a rope of Climbing and Entanglement. Departed mysteriously after the death of its owner, Deckhard.

Sexton- An Enchanted Silver Spade, 4' long and sturdily built, covered in finely graven runes. Taken from the tower of Zoaster. It will dig on command, moving a yard of earth in ten minutes. A 6'x18"x3' grave for example....
Tome of the Cacodemon- a heavy tome containing but a single spell, one capable of summoning forth a cacodemon upon the world. Taken, perhaps unsurprisingly, from the Isle of the Cadodemon.. Used to summon a Cacodemon upon the great Kurultai of the Khanate hordes.
Kharag's Spear of Bravery- an enchanted spear which gives courage to the wielder, but which when held causes them to charge at any foe and never to retreat from battle. +1, cursed berserker. Lost in a wind-god's fane.
Evil sacrificial dagger- a strange dagger with wavy blade which causes unease to those near it. The dagger whispers in men's sleep, causing terrible nightmares. +1. stolen byCalem the cultist upon the death of Lentule.
